Kerry Lemon creates diverse artworks for the public realm, gallery environment and luxury retail. She has an inquisitive approach to material and selects from a diverse palette for each project to connect with site and audience.
Kerry’s portfolio ranges from monumental sculpture, to painting, film, photography and performance. Clients include architects, developers, local authorities, galleries and luxury brands including Virgin, Sony Japan, MAC, LA Times and SPACE NK China.
She is driven by scientific collaboration and is a certified B Corporation committed to a regenerative approach to sustainability. Her research-led artworks respond to local ecologies and aim to connect audiences to the natural world in order to examine their own role within contemporary society and environment.
In addition, Kerry mentors an emerging femxle artist local to every public art commission she undertakes. This leaves a skills legacy by supporting womxn to develop the skills required to create monumental public sculpture. Her commitment to womxn and focus on the commonality of womxn and flora is an important and recurrent thread in her narrative feminist practice..
